Team Profile:

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional’s trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

Position Description:

The commodities business is looking for a Python developer located in Montreal, to support market and pricing model integration.

Candidate will be part of the commodities strategist team, will work on pricing model integration and functional enhancements in valuation components of commodities risk and P&L system and participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and support of risk system components, including market model definition and maintenance, and interaction with trade booking and trade life cycle systems as well as cooperate on desk-driven tasks with other strategists around the globe.


Responsibilities:


  • Reporting and Data processing.
  • Integrating models.
  • Maintaining internal libraries.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, etc.
  • Experience in software development (Python, or C++, etc.)
  • Good analytical, problem solving, communication and written skills.
  • Familiarity with SDLC (software development lifecycle) process and source control (git)

Nice to have:


  • Master’s degree in quantitative subjects would be an asset.
  • Experience with operating in Linux/Unix environment is an asset.
  • Experience in C++ including standard template library is ideal.
